The early cone flowers are in bloom. Maybe two or three, but there are lots more to follow! And the the Black-eyed Susan’s will open soon, too.

Love this time in the garden

Yes, lovely time. Hubby is starting a flower bed….not sure what all he’s intending to include, but the parameter is staked with pentas (pink, red, white, lavender) and the center is the pink fountain plant at the moment…

oh, sounds lovely! I have some lavender in my front flower bed, love that. didn’t have too much spare to buy flowers with this year, so haven’t really done much with the front flower beds, though I will soon enough!!

I should take a new picture from the same angle, to show all the flowers blooming now… hum….

He got more Pink Fountain plants yesterday…the area is filling up. He’s loving his dirt therapy AFTER the planting more than when doing it. HA. Can’t wait for more plants to show up. And yes a new picture would be nice…js.

I’ll try to get one tonight, if it’s not pouring… though we’re scheduled for some pretty awesome storms. Last night we had two possible tornadoes go through a bit further north of us… freaky weather!

I think we need to see some pink fountains too :D

:-) He gave them a hair cut when he planted in the yard. Will wait until it recovers to do some snapshots. Maybe when the ‘flower bed’ gets more established.
We’ve had some storms too…mostly rain and thank goodness the tropical storm dissipated….

It’s super hot and dry here… I have to try to get out tonight and water at least the sunflowers and the herbs. I have a bunch of pictures I need to get up…

Storms are keeping our ‘plants’ well watered. ;-) So far nothing to take picture of that is outstanding. Will keep an eye out…
