I can’t believe it’s already Tuesday! OMG! Where has the time gone? And I’ve only had one baby home most of the time – Teagan’s been going to day care, it’s just breakfast and dinner with the two of them.
Strength and stamina is slowly returning. I’m still exhausted by the end of the day, and sorely miss the nap if I don’t fit it in. I need to be sure to fit naps in more often :) Bending is still trouble, and my belly is still numb. I read/heard that it could be months before it’s better, if it does get better.
We had Ashlin’s Two Week Doctor’s appointment today. Good news! She’s gained back most of her birth weight, her clicky knee seems better. Her jaundice is not any worse, may even be a little better. Doctor isn’t worried about it. She’s spat up (puked!) twice in two days. Doctor thinks she could be over feeding – which is a bit odd for a breastfed baby – we need to keep an eye out, if she’s cranky before or after, it becomes more frequent, we may have to look into reflux issues. But right now, he’s not worried about that either.
The nurse called today with her ultrasound appointment to rule out hip dysplasia. It will be good to get that out of the way, and know that there’s nothing wrong with her hips, even though she was breech for a while. The PKU blood results aren’t back yet, but here, no news is good news. If there was something, they would have called. If there’s nothing, they usually mail the results. We haven’t had a phone call yet…
Teagan’s been crying (not like Sunday, thank goodness!) every night after we put her to bed. It’s frustrating not knowing why she’s crying, but each night it’s a little less long. So, that’s getting better too.
The double stroller is a hit! We even went walking in tonight’s drizzle, though not for long. Can’t let the little one catch a chill.
Anyway, I’m ready for bed now, I’m so tired!
