One more day.  Finally.  I almost don’t believe that there really is just one day.  I guess, I’m glad that I have this day, and that there’s a six hour time difference between here and there.  Gives me just a little more time tonight to make sure the bathroom is clean, that I won’t be totally embarrassed when he gets here :) Not that he’s really going to mind, I’m sure.  I suspect we’ll both not notice much about our surroundings for the next few days…

I guess I’m not too surprised by this answer.  In the past, I have gone for practicality over whimsy with presents.  At times, most times even, I prefer the more meaningful to a symbolic gesture.  I do think it’s more romantic to share with your partner, to share yourself, and to know what would make them happy instead of giving what would make you happy.
