20111006-213238.jpgHow can this happy, spit-bubble-blowing baby be only in the 10th percentile?  There has to be a mistake somewhere.  She’s got 100% personality!

I made pears for her tonight.  Cooled them down and gave her some.  She seemed to like them.  Ended up eating about a tablespoon.  Yay!  Almost past the tongue thrust reflex, so she actually ate them, instead of having me chase them down her chin.

Sweet potatoes and pears have been a hit so far.  Yay.  That’s what I made. Peas, well, not a full-on rejection, something that needs a third or even fourth try.  Bananas haven’t seemed to be too well received yet, either.  Her sister finished the one I took a bit of to mash up, as well as the other two or three we had.  I’ll try again.

Soon enough I’ll be sending food, along with bottles, to day care.  Am I selfish for not wanting to share this with anyone else yet?  Day care gets so much of her right now, I want to keep a tiny bit to myself for just a little bit longer.

They can watch her eat her toes.

For just a little bit longer.  She’ll be wanting more food soon enough.
